Onstage April 2019: Team Swaps

Today is the day!  It's time for another Stampin' Up! Onstage convention - the April one is so exciting as we get to see the new annual catalogue which I just know will have a ton of fabulous goodies that we will all want/need (!), as well as the new In Colors!

It's also a time to get together with several hundred Stampin' Up! Demonstrators, and last night I had dinner with group of lovely ladies and we exchanged our team swaps.

I made these card/chocolate bar holder as my swap.  You can add ribbon as a tie, or leave it without, which means when you have taken the chocolate out, the card will stand up just like a standard card!

I'll be adding the measurements and instructions to my blog next week, but in the meantime watch out for more photos and news from today!

Stampin' Up! Materials Used:
Stamp sets - Sweetest Thing, Marbled
Dies - Jar of Sweets
Punch - 1/8” circle

Cardstock - Lovely Lipstick, Soft Suede, Early

Onstage April 2019: Off on our travels

Hello! Well today, Little Ted and I are off on our travels - to Telford for the Stampin' Up! April Onstage!

Over the next few days I'll be sharing sneaky peaks of new products that will be coming in the new catalogue, as well as the projects I have made to swap with other demonstrators and the ones I receive in return.

I'll be sharing photos here and on Facebook, so do stop by to take a look!

Countdown to Christmas T-5 weeks!

Today I thought I would share the second of my swap cards from Onstage.  It is a very simple and clean card, and I'm thinking I may make some more of these to send as my Christmas card this year - and yes I really must get a move on as it's only 5 weeks until Christmas! T-5 weeks and counting!

I stamped the Christmas Pine images in two shades of green, though I have to admit from the photos you can't really see that.  I then stamped the sentiment in Merry Merlot, which is a gorgeous burgundy wine colour (hence the Merlot I guess!), using my Stamparatus to ensure perfect placement every time!

Then of course, I had to add some Wink of Stella!  Well, it wouldn't be Christmas without a bit of sparkle would it!

Materials used:
Stamp sets - Christmas Pines, Merry Christmas to All
Ink - Granny Apple Green, Old Olive, Merry Merlot
Card - Whisper White, Merry Merlot
Embellishments - Wink of Stella
Adhesive - Tear & Tape
Tools - Stampin' Trimmer, Stamparatus

Onstage Swaps November 2018 with All The Good Things

Hi!  I'm sure you have seen lots of FaceBook and blog posts of the new goodies coming our way in January and that you can't wait to get hold of some!  But what about some inspiration for all the amazing products that you can buy now, or may already have I hear you ask!  So today, with that in mind I thought I would share with you one of the swaps that I made to take to OnStage.

I have used the stunning All The Good Things stamp set - when I first saw this set I knew I had to have it as those fish are just beautiful.  I have to admit the phrase it comes with I probably wouldn't use to often, though I have used it here, but you could add any of your favourite sentiments.

This stamp set is one of the new "Distinktive" sets which add dimension and depth to the images.  To get the best results from these stamps I have found that using a sponge dauber or an ink pad that is not too juicy works well.  Here I used the sponge daubers as it was easier to get the blending of colours, and then added some Wink of Stella (one of my newest favourite things!)

Stampin' Up! materials used:
Stamp sets - All The Good Things
Ink - Gray Granite, Highland Heather
Cardstock - Whisper White, Highland Heather
Embellishments - Wink of Stella
Adhesive - Tear & Tape
Tools - Stampin’ Trimmer, Sponge Daubers, Stamparatus

OnStage Swaps November 2018

Wow!  Just look at all those fabulous projects in this photo!  One of the fun things you can do at Onstage is swap projects that you make with other demonstrators to get inspiration on how to use all those goodies we have in our stash!

I made 3 card fronts, and these are the projects I received when swapping them.  Here are some up close pictures, along with the names of the creator.  I hope you enjoy the ideas and will even CASE (Copy And Share Everything) to make your own!

I'll share the cards that I made later this week, in the mean time if you would like to shop for any of the items used in these projects please pop on over to my online shop.

Happy Crafting!
