2019 Spring Summer Catalogue and Sale-A-Bration!

You probably know that for Stampin' Up! January means new products - and we have some fabulous new goodies in the Spring Summer catalogue that you are just going to love!

In addition to the new catalogue it is also Sale-A-Bration time!  If you haven't come across this before it is a time when you can earn free products from a special catalogue with products that will only be available to earn from the 3rd January to the 31st March 2018!

Yes, you read that right - free products!!  For every £45 you spend, you can choose a free Sale-A-Bration product - see images below.  This year there are two different levels of products to choose from:

• Spend £45 - choose one free level 1 product
• Spend £90 - choose one free level 2 product, or two level 1 products
• Spend £135 - choose one free level 2 products and one level product, or three level 1 product and so on...

A Little Note

Hello and welcome to my first blog post of 2019!  Can you believe we are in the New Year already - I am really not quite sure where the last couple of months went to!

I thought I would share a quick card using some products from the new 2019 Occasions and Sale-a-bration Catalogues which will be available from 3rd January, so not much longer to wait now!  This gorgeous butterfly paper is one of the free Sale-a-bration items that you can choose from when you spend £45.

Something Old Something New - Party Like a Panda Banner

Well, it's been a while since I did a "Something Old, Something New" post, but what I have to share with you today definitely fits the bill.  This party banner uses the brand new Petal Passion Designer Series Paper and the super cute Sale-A-Bration Party Pandas stamp set, some other current products which I will list, and the retired Banners framelits.  Don't worry too much if you don't have those dies - as you can make this project without them!

Die cut Basic Black and Blushing Bride card using the largest banner die.  If you don't have this cut the card to 2 3/4" by 4 7/8" and cut a V shape in the bottom, or leave as a rectangle for a different look.



Cut some Whisper White card to 2 3/4" by 4 1/2" and stamp with the Brushstrokes background in Blushing Bride ink.

Take the second to largest banner die and die cut the Petal Passion paper, and the card stamped with the Brushstroke background.  If you don't have the dies cut to 2 3/8" by 4 1/4", cut the same V shape, or leave as is.  Layer onto the black and pink card.

Make up the embellishments for the banner using the stitched shapes and layering ovals die cut silver foil card, then the layering circles and ovals in Blushing Bride in a smaller size to place on the top and glue the layers together.

Stamp letters in Basic Black to spell out a name or Happy Birthday, or whatever message you want to use.  Die cut using the Large Letter framelits and stick onto the ovals.

Stamp the Party Panda in Basic Black, colour in the spots on the hat with a Blushing Bride marker and cut out and add to the layered circles using dimensionals.  I used my Brother Scan N Cut with a 1mm border around each image, but if you don't have one of these you can cut out by hand.

Punch a hole on each side of the banner pieces and thread the ribbon through the holes, and there is your completed banner!
