Onstage Swap Number 1 using the Stamparatus!

Hi again!  Today I thought I would share one of the card designs that I made as swaps for Onstage, and how I changed the greeting which is part of the stamp image for one in another set - all using the Stamparatus!

Ok, so where did I start.  Well the flower stamp that I wanted to use has the greeting "Amazing You" in it, but I wanted to make this a birthday card.  So I used markers to colour the stamp making sure that I did not ink up the greeting in the middle.  This gave me a nice blank space to fill with a birthday greeting.

Once I had die cut the stamped flowers, I was left with pieces of card with the outline shape in them.  I put one of these pieces on my Stamparatus (L photo), placed a stamped and die cut image into the empty space (centre photo).  I was then able to lay down a clean stamp into the space in the flowers where I wanted to place the birthday greeting, pick it up with the stamparatus plate and stamp in the perfect position each time (R photo)!  In the last photo you can see that I have put the foam mat underneath the card as I ended up using a photopolymer stamp.

Without the Stamparatus I would not have been so confident about getting the placement of the greeting right on each of the stamped images, and I am pretty certain that I would have ended up with a few that I would not be able to use, but not this time!  Perfect, easy, stress free stamping!

I also used the Stamparatus to stamp the zig zag line stamp on each card front - again all in exactly the same place on every card!  So loving my Stamparatus!

If you did not manage to get your Stamparatus during one of the pre-order windows you will be able to order it from the 1st June when the new annual catalogue launces - not long to wait now!  For everything else, please pop on over to my online shop to take a look at all the lovely goodies - and don't forget that some of these are retiring at the end of May.
